BSc in Telecommunications Engineering.14 years of experience participating in Renewable energy projects as designer in control and automation for desalination plants supplied by RES and responsible of Instrumentation for several research project in the field of Renewable Energies.
Currently is head of the Photovoltaic and Microgrids area of the Renewable Energy Department of ITC. His work is focused on rural electrification microgrids, Utility Distribution microgrids and PV plants quality control (diagnosis and commissioning).
Daniel is responsible of the Distributed Generation Lab and the Photovoltaic Lab of ITC and manages several projects related with microgrids in Africa, between them the FORGES project and the APRENMAC project funded by ECREEE (cooperation founds) and PCT-Program of the European Commission respectively.
Currently participates in the SiNGULAR project (funded by Seventh Frame Program of the European Commission) as WP leader in test validation issues.
